“What are you buying and is there really a difference?” |
Verizon DSL Offerings Written by: Patrick Oborn - Feb 23, 2012 Most of us have been taught that by cutting out the middle man we can save money, but is that all you save? When it comes to internet access and phone service working with the Incumbents or Baby Bells is a mixed bag. Certainly there are competitive companies that can give you the same or better phone service than the Baby Bells which suffer from years of a monopolistic market but is it the same for internet service? DSL service is actually quite different than phone service. Besides the obvious difference of one being data and one being voice, competitive carriers generally use their own equipment which is kept at the phone company's facilities. In this case, asking your phone company to make changes to your service is dependant on your phone company and depending on how smoothly they run their operations you could have a very pleasant experience. Internet service, however is different. Many baby bells resell their service which is then sold under a different name. You may be buying internet access and not realize that you're really buying Verizon DSL under another name. In cases where companies purchase Verizon DSL and resell it under their own name, many of the advantages of changing carriers disappear. If the carrier does not own their equipment they will need to contact the provider to make any changes and as they are not the provider you have added another layer of complexity to any request you may have. Is it really worth the $5 or $10 you're saving by going with a competitor? Often times it's not. Think about cutting out the middle man when looking for internet service. If you know the company is simply reselling Verizon DSL, why not just go with the source? |
| Flat Rate Internet T-3 service delivers an unlimited 45 Mbps of bandwidth to meet high-bandwidth business requirements. Cisco Ethernet switches come with all sorts of specifications. When you speak with a SolveForce.com LLC professional, you receive collective wisdom and years of experience and expertise. Helping businesses find the right solution provider at the right price is the only thing we know how to do! Let us solve your problems! Today technologies such as virtual meeting room and IP telephony require high-speed data transfer with instant and secure connectivity. Our T1 providers and services have nationwide availability and price quotes compared with other inferior pricing and telecom provider models. Our network hardware vendors provide Carrier Ethernet equipment and the use of Carrier Ethernet technology within a metropolitan area is ever increasing. Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line also known as ADSL is a group of DSL technologies that apply more bandwidth in one direction than the other. Today's main T3 line users are medium to large web hosting companies, high-traffic web sites, government entities, medical centers, call centers and universities. SDSL lines are completely dedicated to carrying broadband data for Internet connectivity. Basic switches can be bought for as low as a couple of hundred dollars, yet industrial Ethernet switches can cost as high as twenty thousand dollars. Our carrier relationships include very large national and regional companies such as AIRESPRING, ONE COMMUNICATIONS, COVAD, TELEPACIFIC, TIME WARNER TELECOM, NUVOX, AT&T, PAETEC, TELNES, CAVALIER, POWERNET GLOBAL, XO, LEVEL3, ACC BUSINESS and many other telecom service providers. Under the special purchasing arrangement the CLEC remotely keeps an eye on their servers and their equipment while the LEC is then responsible for alerting the CLEC. In some towns, there is only one choice for Internet so that would mean that there is not a need for any choice to be made. A Dedicated T1 is a full-duplex circuit that transmits 1.544 Mbps and receives 1.544 Mbps concurrently. The smaller company now has a chance to purchase equipment and space from the larger company at wholesale prices which is then passed onto the consumer. When using a VoIP system you need to make sure the routers or IP PBX system you are utilizing need to guarantee quality of service by prioritizing voice packets over less important time sensitive data packets. SolveForce has T1 Circuits for T1 Connections in the following cities: Louisville, Memphis, Mesa, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, New York City , Oakland, Oklahoma City and Omaha. The details of a CLEC arrangement with a LEC can be difficult to understand, and the each have their benefits. WISP System services for wireless and wired connectivity via T1 Internet Lines, T3 Data Lines, DS1 Line Bandwidth, DS3 Bandwidth Rates, MPLS Networks, P2P, VPN Companies, Information Technology Solutions, WiFi Hotspot Services, WiMAX and Telecom Networks. At full capacity, the DS3 has the same capacity as 28 T1’s together. As a business grows it is less costly and easier to add additional T1 lines than it would be to completely upgrade to a T3 line. An OC3 Circuit is 155 megabits per second or 84 T1s, an OC12 line equals 622 megabits per second or 4 OC3 circuits. It is a better way to purchase a T1 through an ISP, instead of the LEC because you can hold the ISP accountable for all problems in the local phone company portion of the T1 circuit. The cost of the T1 lines are relatively higher to have coming into your home in comparison to ordinary lines. We are partnered with Sprint, Splice, UCN, Telepacific, Telnes, Speakeasy, WTI Communications, plus many other telecommunications carriers and Internet providers. We also offer the best prices on local phone service, T1, PRI, and VoIP services. |
